Get your hands on Morph!

As part of the 2017 York Festival of Ideas, the University of York welcomes back Peter Lord, Co-founder and Creative Director of Academy Award® winning studio Aardman Animations, to the city on 7 June, 2017 at 6pm.

Peter is back in York to share his story and to tell us about his role as director and producer of animation classics such as Morph, Creature Comforts, Chicken Run, the Wallace and Gromit series and Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists

Peter, a York graduate, will be creating a model of loveable ‘Morph’  who many will remember fondly as the animated and mischievous companion to Tony Hart on the BBC – live at the event. Peter’s model Morph will then be auctioned off later in the evening in aid of mental health support at the University. And don’t worry if you can’t make the auction on the evening  – you can submit a bid online here by midday 7 June!

Tickets for the event ‘Peter Lord: the story of my life’ are free and can be booked online here.

You can follow upcoming events on Twitter or join the Festival’s Facebook page to be kept up-to-date with Festival news.
